What we look at before quoting

Length and width are the easy part. What decides whether a driveway lasts is contour and drainage: where the route sits against the fall of the land, where water crosses, whether the entrance needs a culvert, and what base the soil wants under the rock. We walk the route and call those out before we ever talk price. Then you get one flat quote for the scoped drive.

Materials

We source aggregate from area pits and quarries and match the rock to the job: base course where it needs to carry weight, surface rock where it needs to drive clean. If you have a preference or an existing drive to match, say so on the walk.

New pads, fresh clearing, and build-site prep. Cutting the drive while the machine is already on site is usually the cheapest time to do it.

Base and drainage. Rock dumped on dirt ruts out in a season. A cut route with a proper base, crown, and somewhere for water to go lasts. That is what we scope on the walk.

Do you install culverts?

Where the route crosses drainage, yes, we scope culvert placement as part of the job. County entrance rules are yours to confirm with your county.
