Sometimes what is standing between a property and its next chapter is not brush. It is a leaning shed, a dead barn, an old fence line, or a pile of debris the last owner left behind. Oklahoma Mulch Works now takes on demo and site clearing tied to land prep, so the same crew that opens the land can deal with what is sitting on it.
What we scope
Sheds and outbuildings coming down. Old barns past saving. Fence tear-out ahead of new wire. Debris piles, junk accumulations, and the leftovers of a place that sat too long. Brush-to-bare clearing where a build site needs everything gone, structures included. Every job is case by case, and every quote comes after a walk.
What we do not do
We are honest about the line. Commercial building demolition, structures with asbestos or other hazardous material concerns, and large urban tear-downs belong with specialty demo contractors carrying that specific insurance. If your job is on the wrong side of that line, we will tell you on the walk and point you at the right kind of outfit.
Shed, barn, and outbuilding removal around the OKC metro
The most common demo call we get is simple: an old shed or barn that has outlived its use, sitting on a property in Oklahoma City, Edmond, Yukon, Piedmont, or the acreage towns around the metro. We take the structure down, load the debris out, and leave the footprint ready for whatever comes next, whether that is grass, a pad, or a new building. If the ground around it is overgrown too, we scope the clearing and the demo as one job.
How it fits the rest of the work
Demo pairs naturally with land clearing and pad work. Clear the brush, drop the old structure, haul the debris, shape the pad: one scope, one contract, one contractor to hold accountable.
Pricing
Flat quote after the walk, with haul-off and disposal included in the number. Structure work varies too much for phone pricing, and we will not guess at what is under a floor or behind a wall sight unseen.
Common Questions
What kind of demolition do you take on?
Demo tied to land prep: sheds, outbuildings, old barns, fencing, and debris that stand between a property and its next use. Every job is scoped case by case after a walk.
Do you handle big commercial tear-downs?
No. We scope structure and debris clearing on residential and acreage properties. Commercial demolition and anything involving hazardous material abatement needs a specialty contractor.
What happens to the debris?
Unlike mulch, structure debris usually leaves the property. Haul-off and disposal are scoped into the flat quote so there is no surprise line item.
Have a structure in the way?
Call (405) 870-1381 and describe what needs to come down and what the ground needs to be after. Demo work is scoped case by case, always after a walk.
